DOT Training

 

DOT Training informs attendees on regulations requiring initial and recurrent training of all employees who perform work functions covered by the Hazardous Materials Regulations (HMR; 49 CFR Parts 171-180). Any employee whose work directly affects the safety of hazardous materials transportation is required to have training. Topics include, Hazardous Materials Table, Shipping Papers, Marking and Labeling, Placarding, Packaging, Highway, Air, Rail, and Water.

 

 

Lock Out/Tag Out

 

Lock out / Tag Out - 29 CFR 1910.147 - General Industry workers performing servicing and/or maintenance on machines or equipment and who are exposed to the unexpected energization, startup, or release of hazardous energy. Topics cover any servicing and/or maintenance of machines or equipment when the source of energy to the machines or equipment is electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, chemical, thermal, or other energy.

 

 

AED

 

Automated External Defibrillators (AED) is a portable electronic device that automatically diagnoses the life-threating cardiac arrhythmias of ventricular fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia in a patient and is able to treat them through defibrillation, the application of electrical therapy which stops the arrhythmia, allowing the heart to reestablish an effective rhythm. AED training meets the needs of workplace responders, professional rescuers school staffs, professional responders and healthcare providers, as well as the general public.
